About Us
A top priority of every community should be the cultivation and nurturing of each member; not only for their own personal well-being but to fashion a life-style which inspires others, especially the always impressionable youth. Kait's Angels is a chapter-based nonprofit organization headquartered on the North Fork of Long Island. Its mission is the discovery and optimization of one’s individual value. It is this simple influence that ultimately empowers people to reach their full potential and to set a positive example for others.
The values we encourage our angels (that’s you!) to possess enable them to realize the positive impact of simple behaviors and actions on themselves and those around them. Principles such as compassion, constructive influences, random acts of kindness, regular volunteering, productive recreational activities, and personal attention/encouragement. Leadership qualities like honesty, delegation, organization, responsibility and accountability. Life skills including fitness and nutrition, money management, and knowledge of the democratic process. These things can make a huge difference in your life and the lives of others; plus they create an encouraging and positive environment for everyone to live and grow in. So in essence, lead by example.
Not to mention it makes the community run like a well-oiled machine.
When it comes to small communities, everyone is closely connected and it takes a lot less to have an impact on people. Why not let it be a positive one...
HERE'S A LITTLE OF WHAT WE DO
With the help of fundraising and our network of members, Kait’s Angels sponsors various services, programs, and events throughout the year to benefit everyone in our community and especially our younger population.
- Provide local charities and their events with volunteers and financial assistance
- Sponsor a constantly growing number of FREE after school programs hosted by local community members for students across the North Fork including courses in winemaking and vineyard operations, art therapy, nutrition and fitness, money management, investment and stock trading, and many more.
- Support local families in need to ensure an unlimited, positive and productive environment for all of our growing young people. This support can include anything from financial to moral support, tutors, etc.
- Host unforgettable local fundraising events, concerts and holiday celebrations
- Deliver daily inspiration and positivity through our many social media platforms
In order to make a difference we need your help. Kait’s Angels is operated by volunteers and relies on donation. Only through support from community members like you can our goals for helping address the needs around us, be met.
Monetary donations will be allocated directly to facilitating our message: Discover your value; positivity and productivity driving you toward a successful, fulfilling life.
Kait’s Angels is a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization under the IRS and donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law.
